Violetta is built around one trim. A band of crushed organza petals sits straight across the strapless neckline, and the same petals fall down the skirt in loose vertical runs, lilac fading out to white at the edges. Between them the bodice is beaded, and the skirt is glitter tulle, a fine sparkle held inside the layers rather than laid on top of them, with embroidered leaves threaded among the flowers. The back is plain by contrast. A straight edge across, then a centre zip down the bodice, and the flowers pick up again at the hip. From there the skirt opens full and carries into a cathedral train, which we bustle for the banquet and rehearse with you before the day. It is the one gown on this rail with colour in it, and the colour is the reason to choose it.
