Cang-Ai is a bridal boutique with a full gown floor on site. The hardest part of organising a family portrait is what everyone will wear, and ours are already on the rail when you arrive.
Who wears what
You know how the family group chat goes. What should we wear? Mum can't find anything nice. The kids outgrew their formal clothes. We have dressed brides, mothers of the bride and flower girls for years, and the same wardrobe is open for your family portrait.

How much does a family photoshoot in Singapore cost?
The Portrait is S$588 nett and The Gown & Suit is S$688 nett, currently promoted from S$988. Both prices are nett, and both include a studio or outdoor session and professionally edited photographs. Customised family portrait packages are available on request.
What is included in The Portrait package?
S$588 nett covers a session at our Tanjong Pagar studio or an outdoor location, up to two outfit changes using outfits you prepare yourself, and eight edited photographs.
What is included in The Gown & Suit package?
S$688 nett covers a session at our studio or an outdoor location, one gown and one suit from our wardrobe, a free dress or suit for a child below 130 cm, up to two outfit changes with one casual outfit you prepare yourself, and twelve edited photographs.
What should our family wear for the photoshoot?
With The Gown & Suit, one adult wears a gown, one wears a suit, and a child below 130 cm gets an outfit on us, all from our own floor. With The Portrait your family brings the clothes, and two changes are included. Either way, ask us for a colour palette when you enquire and we will help everyone look coordinated without looking identical.
Are make-up and hair included?
No. Neither package includes make-up or hair. Both cover the session, the photographer, the edited photographs, and the clothes where the package provides them. Make-up and styling are a separate service at Cang-Ai, so say the word when you enquire and we will quote them alongside the package.
How many photographs do we get, and can we have the rest?
The Portrait includes eight edited photographs and The Gown & Suit includes twelve. If your family would like more, or the remaining frames from the session, ask us when you enquire and we will quote it before you book.
What do older children and teenagers wear?
The free outfit in The Gown & Suit fits a child below 130 cm. Older children and teenagers wear what your family brings, or we can add a gown or a suit from our floor for a fee. Tell us their ages when you enquire and we will quote what each of them needs.
Can a parent or grandparent wear the gown?
Yes. Any adult in the family can wear it, and it goes to ah ma as happily as to mum. Tell us who will be wearing it when you enquire and we will put suitable options aside before you come in.
Can we photograph in the studio or outdoors?
Both. Our studio is at 85 Tanjong Pagar Road, in the city centre and a short walk from Tanjong Pagar and Maxwell MRT. We also photograph families at outdoor locations around Singapore. Tell us which you prefer when you enquire and we will talk it through.
Can we get formal and casual photographs in one session?
Yes. A session moves from formal portraits in gowns and suits to relaxed photographs of the same family, so both come out of one booking.
How many people can join, and how long is the session?
We photograph small families and multi-generation groups, grandparents and teenagers included. Session length and the arrangements for a larger group depend on who is coming, so tell us how many people and which generations, and we will confirm everything before you book.
When should we book for Chinese New Year or a graduation?
Enquire as soon as you know your date, especially for weekends and the weeks before Chinese New Year. If you need the photographs by a particular day, tell us the deadline and we will plan the session around it.
How do we book a family photoshoot?
