Seraphine is measured in volume. Above the waist it is precise: a high halter collar and a fitted bodice beaded in vertical runs that catch the light and hold the eye up. At the waist the discipline ends. The skirt breaks into tiers of organza, each ruffle edged so it holds its curve, layer falling over layer the whole way to the floor. The fabric stands away from the body with true ball-gown volume, and every step sets the surface moving.
