Regina fastens at the throat. A high halter neckline is cut close in lace, the bodice beneath it fitted through the ribs and the waist, and the lace runs on without a break over the hip and down the thigh before the skirt flares below the knee into tulle. The front is composed and symmetrical, which leaves the pattern of the lace to do the work from collar to hem. The back is where the gown opens. The halter frames a keyhole between the shoulder blades, and the lace closes again with a concealed zip before it continues into the skirt. The train spreads wide and finishes in a scalloped lace border that lies flat on the floor.
