Magnolia is covered. The neckline sits straight across, held by soft off-shoulder bands that rest on the upper arm, and from there the flowers begin — raised, three-dimensional petals stitched over lace, crowded at the bodice and scattering outward across the skirt. They do not stop. The blooms travel down the full skirt and out along the train, thinning slightly toward the edge so the lace beneath shows through, then gathering again at the scalloped hem. Up close each flower stands away from the fabric and casts its own small shadow. From across a room the whole gown reads as texture, like a hedge in flower. The silhouette underneath is a full A-line with a defined waist. It suits a bride who wants to be seen at a distance and studied up close, and it photographs best in daylight, where the raised petals have shadows to work with.
