Lyra is a classic A-line with a high beaded halter, cut for a bride who wants tradition with a lighter hand. The collar sits close at the neck, edged in beads, and the bodice beneath it is sheer net embroidered edge to edge with beaded scrollwork. The motifs are symmetrical and finely worked, and they carry just past the natural waist so the bodice meets the skirt without a hard line. The back is the quiet surprise. From an embroidered panel at the nape, closed with a row of covered buttons, two beaded straps sweep down to each side and leave the upper back open. Below them the bodice stays sheer and worked to match the front, finished with a concealed zip. The skirt is layered soft tulle, full without stiffness, each layer finished in a fine sheer edge at the hem. It moves easily and settles into a long train that carries the gown's whole length behind it. Worn with the hair up or half-back, the halter line keeps the shoulders bare and the eye on the beadwork. It is a gown in the classic register — covered where tradition asks, open where it can afford to be.
