Lucienne is sequinned from the shoulder to the hem. The neckline is square, the sleeves long and fitted with a slight lift at the shoulder, and the bodice is seamed like a corset — vertical lines that shape the waist and catch the light along their length. A narrow band marks the natural waist. Below it the skirt falls in a full A-line of the same sequinned tulle, so the sparkle is continuous rather than placed. The back is cut square and low between the sleeves, and the train follows behind in a long sweep that keeps its shimmer as it moves. This one belongs after dark. Under chandeliers or spotlights the whole surface lifts at once, and the covered sleeves keep it elegant rather than exposed — glamour with everything held in place.
